Back in August, a good friend of mine told me of a wedding he had recently attended, the wedding of his friend, a Brooklyn artist, to her hubby. He described the reception as the most intricately designed party he had ever been to or seen! The elaborate nature of this bouquet aligns with what I imagined when he told me of this celebration. :)

Generally speaking, I am not big into the vintage wedding idea; however, I came across these charming vintage tin can floral arrangements on The Wedding Chicks and could not help but smile. I love them! Speaking of flowers, I am shopping at the Los Angeles Flower District some time this week. For any who live in or near the city, you should too!! BEST (really, the best) deals on flowers, ribbons, vases, and much more! Get there early :)

Above is one of my favorite Martha Stewart do it yourself favor packaging projects, “How-To Paper Dahlia.” If you’re truly interested in pursuing this project, the tissue paper trim template is available on her online website! I am definitely going to try this one out (especially given that I have holiday break time on my side).

Food for thought.

Drink flags—just cute or absolutely indispensable? I say the latter! :) Yes, to some these may be considered mere trinkets, but details matter and creative treats like these show that a host cares to take his or her event to the next level. Plus, who could make a misstep with these favors? They’re adorable! The drink flags featured above are by Wiley Valentine (they carry the cutest stationery ever), truly “inspired paper delights.”

Having been raised consuming Disney Princess films like water, naturally I am attracted to the whole Disney Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons program. Have you seen their brochure? If yes, amazing; right?! If not, you should. To be part of Disney’s Wedding Team would be my “happily ever after.” Anyways, to supplement this program, of course Disney has its very own bridal line, concocted in conjunction with some of the fashion-world’s signature names. Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo—if you have any love for Disney, or weddings, or both, give it a look!
